Quincy Symphony OrchestraWith its extensive repertoire, the Quincy Symphony Orchestra has been delighting local audiences for more than 50 years. Under the direction of conductor Yoichi Udagawa, this non-profit community orchestra performs three classical concerts each concert season. In addition, a free holiday concert is held each December, while a special April concert highlights the talents of a local high school musician. The season concludes with a pops concert in May. Quincy Choral SocietyFor nearly 25 years, the Quincy Choral Society has been presenting a wide selection of classical and contemporary music. Quincy Dinner TheaterThis non-profit, professional theater company presents self-produced shows as well as touring professional shows in Quincy Center. Located across the street from the Quincy Center MBTA station, Quincy Dinner Theater presents five to six major attractions from September to May each year, many of which feature local Quincy and South Shore talent. Eastern Nazarene CollegeLocated in Quincy's Wollaston section, Eastern Nazarene offers highly regarded degree programs in Theatre Arts and Music. The Communication Arts Department presents several theatrical productions each season, with past productions ranging from The Diary of Anne Frank to West Side Story to Shakespeare's Twelfth Night . Quincy CollegeLocated in the heart of Quincy Center, Quincy College offers a range of associate's degree and certificate programs, including an Associate's Degree in Fine Arts with concentrations in Dramatic Arts, Music Arts and Visual Arts.
